If you add a link to the English Wikipedia, that is technically not a minor change. So your edits to From each according to his ability, to each according to his need weren't minor changes as marked.
If you're unsure about what is a minor edit, see my table of what is and isn't a minor edit here.
Thirdly, we like red links here. Articles with loads of redlinks will show up at Special:WantedPages to show which articles to create first.
We don't link to the English Wikipedia either, since it's, technically, a completely separate language to Simple English, it could confuse users who are learning English that they now have more complex language in front of them.
