Spoken Simple English Wikipedia change

There is, my friend, Storkk! We have one, created by me, but... uh... business is not so good. If you want to join, go ahead. :) But, we are not allowed to post images here anymore, so I'll tell you how it goes, okay? See you soon.-- Tdxiang @ 01:32, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Spoken articles change

Thank you for adding spoken articles to wikipedia. It would be a good policy not to rewrite an article and speak it in the same day. It is generally better to give the new version a chance to be checked by other editors and pick an article that has been stable for some time, say maybe a week at least. This wiki is much smaller than en and things work quite differently here in a number of ways. But if I were to go to en: and rewrite a controversial article that was already the object of much discussion, and negotiation regarding fine points of wording, one that every nuance had been pored over by several editors, and then within 15 minutes, upload my own version as a sound file, do you really think it would be put up for deletion, or don't you think it would be speedily deleted and reverted? The article you mentioned is not a good candidate for recording as a sound file, articles that have a higher quality standard and have had a more stable history, have proven less controversial or prone to pov accusations make better candidates for recording. On your choices of which articles (and which versions) that you chose to upload, I agree with Blockinblox. Keep in mind that Simple English Wikipedia is not just another version of English Wikipedia. We try to do everything simply, and it is not always correct to just directly import procedures and templates from EN:. -- Netoholic @ 17:42, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
