Folklore contest

change

This reminds me of the Wiki Loves Women contest we had last fall. It also said, at first, that contestants could expand articles instead of only writing new ones. But we found that Fountain could not support that in a way that the main contest organizers on Meta liked. Have you checked out Fountain and are you satisfied that there is a way for article-expansion entries to be submitted for evaluation in a way you think is good and fair? When we did Wiki Loves Women here on simple, we added another rule: The entry has to be in simple English, not regular English. I figured this was something that should go without saying, but here on Simple it doesn't always. Most of the rejected entries were rejected because they were too complex. Hi @Darkfrog24 the new update in fountain now gives us option of adding expanded articles. Just about the calculation of 300 words and 3000 bytes needs to be done by the jury. Also about the writing contest we are open for additional rules that are set up by the local organisers. Feel free to contact me if you need any help in setting up of fountain or i will set it up manually for you if you need. Looking forward for your immense co-operation this year in organizing Feminism and Folklore (previously Wiki Loves women) on the simple English Wikipedia. Of 300 words and 3000 bytes! This year, this condition is ignored. It's not fair![2]--Aidar254 (talk) 10:00, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
