Václav Riedlbauch
Czech minister of culture of the CR, accordionist, music educator, composer, manager, university educator and director of Czech philharmony (1947-2017)
Václav Riedlbauch (1 April 1947 – 3 November 2017) was a Czech composer, pedagogue and manager. He was the Minister of Culture in the government of Jan Fischer (2009–2010).[1] He was born in Dýšina. He was program director at the Prague Congress Centre.
From 2001 until his death, he was the Director General of the Czech Philharmonic. He was a professor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
Riedlbauch died of complications from COPD in Prague on 3 November 2017 at the age of 70.[2]
