Värtsilä
former municipality of Finland, now part of Tohmajärvi
Värtsilä is a former municipality in North Karelia, Finland. In 2005, 660 people lived there. Since 2005, it became a part of Tohmajärvi. The village developed into an industrial area in 1834, which started construction of a sawmill. It has the urban settlement of Vyartsilya (Russian: Вяртсиля), which belongs to Russia since 1944.
