Vicente "Tito" Castelo Sotto III (born August 24, 1948) is an actor, TV host and a politician in the Philippines.

Sotto was vice mayor of Quezon City, Philippines from 1988 to 1992. He was also in the Philippines' Senate for two terms from 1992 to 2004. In 2010, he was reelected in the Senate.

He was a host of Eat Bulaga!.

On May 21, 2018, he became the 29th President of the Senate of the Philippines, replacing Koko Pimentel.

Sotto was a candidate for Vice President of the Philippines in the 2022 election.

Biography change

Sotto was born on 24 August 1948. His parents were Marcelino Ojeda Sotto and Dr. Herminia Castelo Sotto. He studied at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros, Manila. He earned there a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English.[2]
