History
changeThe university was founded in 1912 by decree of Nicholas II as the Voronezh Agricultural Institute. It was named after Peter I. The grand opening took place in 1913.
In 1930 the institute was reorganized. In 1991 it was renamed into Voronezh Agricultural University.[1][2]
