Warkany syndrome is the name for two different syndromes
- Warkany syndrome 1 is a gene defect on the X chromosome, wihich is recessive
- Warkany syndrome 2 is a different name of the mosaic form of Trisomy 8.
Both are named for Austrian-American geneticist Joseph Warkany (1902-1992)
