"What's Love Got to Do with It" is the second single released in May 1984.[1] It is from Tina Turner's album, Private Dancer. The song is a pop rock and soul song written by Graham Lyle and Terry Britten. Britten produced the song.[2]

It became Turner's most successful song. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, in Australia,[3] and the top five in New Zealand, Austria, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The title of this song was used for a 1993 biographical movie that was distributed by TriStar Pictures.

A remix of the song was released on July 17, 2020 by Norwegian DJ Kygo.
