Wikipedia:Navigation template
Navigation Templates is a template that collects links to related articles in one place on the articles page to facilitate browsing and navigation between them. It also has its advantages to improve articles and unify the overview of article pages that share similar topics. Template content is modified in one central place called the Template Page. There are two types of browsing templates: the first is called a navigation box, and is designed to appear at the bottom of the article, and the second is called a sidebar that appears on the right of the template page. The templates are added using {{navbox}} or {{sidebar}} master templates.
