William Lloyd Garrison
William Lloyd Garrison (December 13, 1805 – May 24, 1879) was an American abolitionist, meaning he wanted to end slavery in the United States. He wrote a newspaper called The Liberator. He also worked to allow women to vote. Garrison was born in Massachusetts. He died in New York.
