Willy Meysmans (10 March 1930 – 21 December 2024) was a Belgian sculptor.[1]

He was most known for making the statue Fiere Margriet of Margaret of Louvain (1207-1225) in Leuven in 1981.[2] Meysmans also made works of art for private and public buildings, including the artwork for the Belgian pavilion at the Expo 58 in Brussels. He exhibited in Belgium, Western Europe and Africa.[3][4]
Meysmans died in Leuven on 21 December 2024, at the age of 94.[1][5]
