Xenia, Ohio
city in and the county seat of Greene County, Ohio, United States
Xenia is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is in the southwestern part of the state, about twenty miles from Dayton. The city was founded in 1803, the same year Ohio became a state.
Xenia was almost destroyed by a very strong tornado on April 3, 1974, during a outbreak of deadly tornadoes from Alabama to Ontario, Canada. 32 people were killed in the city, and the city's high school was destroyed.
