Young Thug
Jeffrey Lamar Williams (born August 16, 1991), better known by his stage name Young Thug, is an American rapper and singer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is signed to 1017 Records. Williams grew up to prominence in 2013 after releasing his mixtape 1017 Thug to critical acclaim. He has collaborated with artists such as Gucci Mane, Rich Homie Quan, and Gunna.

Arrest and trial
changeOn May 9, 2022, Thug along with Gunna and 26 other associates of the YSL label were arrested. They were charged under the Georgia RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act.[6] Thug was also charged with owning illegal weapons and drugs.[7]
His trail started on November 27, 2023.[8] Thug was released from jail on October 31, 2024 after taking a guilty plea deal. The deal included a 40-year sentence and time served for 5 years. He was also given 15 years of probation and if he breaks probation, he will face a 20 year prison sentence. He is also banned from entering Metro Atlanta for 10 years.[9]
