Yusof Ishak

1st President of Singapore (1910–1970)

Yusof Ishak (12 August 1910 – 23 November 1970) was the first President of Singapore from 1965 to 1970.

Ishak died while in office on 23 November 1970 from heart failure at the age of 60.[1][2]
