Biography

Zanan Ahmad (born 1 October 2001)[2] is an British author, motivational speaker, and public figure. Despite his later success as a writer, Zanan, showed little interest in reading or writing during his early years. He gradually began writing as a way to reflect on his personal experiences, which eventually led to his career as an author.[1]

Zanan Ahmad was born in Birmingham, England, to a middle-class family. He attended Rood End Primary School and later Holly Lodge High School College of Science. During his teenage years, Ahmad developed an awareness of mental health issues, which became a central theme in his later writing. He completed his education at Dudley College of Technology in 2022.[3]

Zanan Ahmad published his first book, From Mistakes to Milestones: Embracing Life's Choices, in 2015. This marked the beginning of his journey as an author. He went on to write several notable works, including The Road Back Home, Emerging on the Other Side (2023, and The Fog of the Mind (2024), a poetry collection exploring mental illness.[4]
