Abe Fortas

United States Supreme Court Justice (1910-1982)

Abraham "Abe" Fortas (June 19, 1910 – April 5, 1982) was an American lawyer. He was a U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice from 1965 to 1969.

Fortas died from an aortic rupture on April 5, 1982 in Washington, D.C. at the age of 71.[2]
