Ahmet Altan
Turkish journalist
Ahmet Hüsrev Altan (born 2 March 1950) is a Turkish journalist and author. He was a night shift reporter to editor in chief in various newspapers. He worked for the newspapers Hürriyet, Milliyet and Radikal. In 2007 he became the founding editor-in-chief and lead columnist of Taraf, a daily Turkish newspaper, and remained in the position until his resignation in December 2012.

In October 2019, Atlan revealed to The New York Times that he is receiving treatment for brain cancer.[1]
