Alan Page

American football player and judge (born 1945)

Alan Cedric Page (born August 7, 1945) is an American former professional American football player and judge. He played defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings in the 1970s. After his professional career, he was an associate justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1993 until he retired in 2015.

Page was the first defensive player to win the MVP Award. He is a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame (1993) and the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1988).[1]

In November 2018, President Donald Trump awarded Page the Presidential Medal of Freedom.[2]
