Anklam
town in the Vorpommern-Greifswald District, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany
Anklam is a town in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. About 12,000 people live there. It is on the river Peene. Anklam was the capital of Ostvorpommern. Since September 2011, it became part of Vorpommern-Greifswald.
