Area code 613

Area code 613 was one of the original area codes established in 1947. It initially served the entire eastern part of the province of Ontario. Over time, as the population increased and the demand for phone numbers grew, area code 613 was split by 705, then overlaid by 343 in 2010 and 753 on March 26, 2022. It now covers eastern Ontario, Canada, including cities like Ottawa, Kingston, and Cornwall.
