Arrecife (/ˌærəˈsf/; Spanish pronunciation: [areˈθife]; local pronunciation: [areˈsife]) is a city and municipality in the Canary Islands (Spain) in the center-east of the island of Lanzarote. It has been the capital of Lanzarote since 1852.
