Bad Lippspringe is on the western slope of the Teutoburg Forest and about 10 km (6.2 mi) northeast of Paderborn. The river Lippe has its source in Bad Lippspringe. The town is known for its spa, many hospitals. There are three parks in Bad Lippspringe: Arminiuspark, Jordanpark and Kaiser-Karls-Park. The beautiful gardening show took place from 12 April to 15 October 2017. It was first mentioned in 780.
