Baileyton is a town in Greene County, Tennessee, United States. The Baileyton area was first settled in 1776. The name "Baileyton" comes from two brothers who lived there. They were Claudius and Thomas P. Bailey. The town was incorporated in 1915.[5] It is a part of the area known as the Tri-Cities, Tennessee.
