Bareilly Ki Barfi (meaning Bareilly's Barfi in Hindi) is a 2017 Indian romantic comedy movie directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. It is based on a novel by Nicolas Barreau titled The Ingredients of Love. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon. It was released in Indian threatres on 18 August 2017, which is on Independence Day weekend. It was shot in Lucknow. This film got good reviews after being released, and furthermore it got ₹20 crore (US$2.4 million), which is a great amount in comparison to the execution budget.[1][2][3]
