Battle of Rash Mountain
The battle of Mount Rash took place in early November 1974 in the mountain Rash, west of Duhok. Because the area was under the control of the revolution, the Peshmerga continued their activities, especially shelling military convoys. To put an end to the revolution there, the Iraqi army launched a significant offensive, but it failed and resulted in significant casualties. [1]
