Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance also known in Japan as simply called Beat Down (Bitodawn, Bito Dawn) is a 3rd person beat 'em up video game, developed by Cavia Inc., and published by Capcom.

Gameplay
changeThere are three game modes in Beat Down, including:
- Story Mode - The main story mode o the game, divided into chapters. This is the only game mode which allows one to save their proggress, and can be replayed mulitiple times to unlock new characters, items, and move sets. Certain endings and plot arcs can only be attained, after multiple playthroughs with diffrent characters.
- Vs Mode Normal - This mode can only be played, by loading a save game file then using the characters on has been unlocked. It allows the player to fight another player, or the CPU with a team up to 3-fighters. The roster available depends on, when the player has recruited in their particular save-file.
- Vs Mode Costume - Similiar to the original versus mode, this except the costume-player characters that can be added, with the same weapons, items, and skills unlocked in Story Mode.
Plot
changeThe player assumes the role of one o the five underworld enforceses, Raven, Jason G, Aaron, Gina or Lola. When they withnessed the dead bodies of the drug dealers in the warehouse, as taking part of the drug dealing for money, they where betrayed by Las Sombras', a powerful Mafia family led by Zanetti. The player splits-up with the other enforcements, and now must get their revenge againts the Zanetti's gang members as well as being awareo the corrupted police.
