Bernie Kilgariff

Australian politician (1923-2010)

Bernard Francis Kilgariff AM (30 September 1923 – 13 April 2010) was an Australian politician. He was one of the founders of the Country Liberal Party. From 1975 to 1987, he was a Senator for the Northern Territory. He also served as the member for Alice Springs in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1976.[1]

Kilgariff was born in Adelaide, South Australia. He died in Alice Springs, Northern Territory on 13 April 2010, at the age of 86. After his death, a state funeral for Kilgariff was held.[2]
