Bill Davis

Canadian politician, former Premier of Ontario

William Grenville "Bill" Davis, (born July 30, 1929) is a Canadian politician. He was born in Toronto. He was the 18th Premier of Ontario, Canada, from 1971 to 1985.

In a 2012 edition, the Institute for Research on Public Policy's magazine, Policy Options, named Davis the second-best Canadian premier of the last forty years, beaten only by Peter Lougheed.[1]
