Bob Beauprez

American politician

Robert Louis Beauprez (/bpr/;[3] born September 22, 1948) is an American politician. He is a member of the Republican Party. He was chairman of the Colorado Republican Party from 1999 to 2002. He was then elected to represent Colorado's 7th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives, and served from 2003 to 2007.

He ran for Governor of Colorado in the 2006 election but lost to Democratic nominee Bill Ritter.

He was the Republican nominee for governor again in the 2014 election, but lost to Democratic Governor John Hickenlooper.
