Brăila

city in Brăila County, Muntenia, Romania

Brăila is a city of Muntenia, in the eastern part of Romania. It is the capital of Brăila County. As of the year 2002, about 216,300 people were living in Brăila. It is Romania's tenth largest city and has a port on the Danube river.
