The Catalan Wikipedia (Catalan: Viquipèdia) is the Catalan-language edition of Wikipedia. This edition was started in March 2001, and is the fourth-oldest edition of Wikipedia.

It is the 17th largest edition by article count.^[1]

As of May 2013, it had over 400,000 articles.^[2]

As of March 11, 2016, the number of the Catalan Wikipedia's articles reached 500,000.^[3]
