Chabelo
Mexican actor
Xavier López Rodríguez (February 17, 1935 – March 25, 2023),[2] his better known as "Chabelo", was a Mexican actor and television host.

He worked on television for over sixty years. "Chabelo" has been in more than thirty motion pictures and recorded more than thirty musical albums. He also has produced many shows like La Cuchufleta and La Güereja Quiere Más.[3]
His most famous TV show was En Familia con Chabelo, which was broadcast every Sunday morning on Televisa. This show was made up of contests with people from the audience, gifts and games and was mainly for children.[4] The program ended on December 20, 2015 after 47 years.
Chabelo died on 25 March 2023 in Mexico City from septic shock at the age of 88.[5]
