Charles Coste

Olympic cyclist

Charles Coste (born 8 February 1924) is a French cyclist. He was born in Ollioules, France. He won a gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.[1] He finished in fourth place in the 1950 Paris–Roubaix.[2]

Coste turned 100 in February 2024.[3] He lit the Olympic torch at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.[4] In January 2025, after the death of Ágnes Keleti, Coste became the oldest living Olympic champion.[5]
