American artist and internet personality

Christine Weston Chandler, formerly Christian Weston Chandler, also known as Chris-Chan is a video blogger and creator of the webcomic "Sonichu" [1] . Considered by some to be one of the most documented figures in history [2] [3] . Due to his unusual hobbies and deviant behavior, Chandler became the victim of massive and prolonged harassment by trolls on the imageboard 4chan . Chandler was unable to adequately resist the trolls, constantly succumbing to their deceptions and provocations, becoming increasingly famous in the Internet environment and enduring an increasing number of troll attacks. Despite the above, Chris-chan also has her own loyal followers, ready to protect her from hostile attacks [4] .

Biography

Born on February 24, 1982 in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA, to the family of Robert (died 2011) [5] and Barbara Chandler [6] . At the age of five he was diagnosed with autism [7] . In 1992, his original name, Christopher, was changed to Christian. [8]

Christian spent most of his life in the town of Ruckersville, where he now lives, and in Charlottesville. Chris has been outside of Virginia, where these cities are located, only twice since 2015: the first when he visited his cousin Col in California, and the second when he went to Cleveland, Ohio in search of his next girlfriend, with whom I corresponded (in fact, it turned out to be another troll). After a failed trip to Ohio, Christian's parents banned him from traveling outside his home state. [9]

Sonichu published the first issue of its webcomic on March 24 , 2005 . The character of the same name is a hybrid of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu [10] [11] .

In 2016, she began identifying as a trans lesbian named Christine Weston Chandler.

On July 30, 2021, audio recordings were released in which Christine claimed to have abused her mother, who suffered from dementia . The two were separated by the local police department on the same day [12] . On August 1, she was arrested on charges of incest [13] [14] . The following year, a false news story was published claiming that Cristina had escaped from prison with Guzmán Loera, Joaquín [15] . She was released in March 2023 [16] .
