Christine Wormuth

American politician

Christine Wormuth (born April 19, 1969) is an American federal government official. In 2021, Wormuth became the 25th United States Secretary of the Army during the Joe Biden administration. She was the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy from 2014 to 2016 during the Barack Obama presidency.

In April 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Wormuth to be the 25th United States Secretary of the Army and if confirmed, she would be the first woman to hold that role.[1] She was confirmed on May 26, 2021.
