Conclave (movie)
Conclave is a 2024 mystery thriller movie directed by Edward Berger and written by Peter Straughan. It is based on the 2016 novel by Robert Harris. The movie stars Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella Rossellini.

The movie is about Cardinal Thomas Lawrence (Fiennes) who plans a papal conclave to elect the next pope and soon begins investigating secrets and scandals about each candidate.
Conclave premiered at the 51st Telluride Film Festival on 30 August 2024, was released in theatres in the United States by Focus Features on 25 October 2024 and in the United Kingdom by Black Bear UK on 29 November.
The movie received positive reviews from critics. It was named one of the top ten movies of 2024 by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute.[4]
It received nominations for six Golden Globe Awards.
