Don Sundquist

American politician

Donald Kenneth Sundquist (March 15, 1936 – August 27, 2023) was an American businessman and politician. He was the 47th Governor of Tennessee from 1995 to 2003. Prior to his governorship, he represented Tennessee's 7th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1983 to 1995.

Sundquist died in Memphis, Tennessee on August 27, 2023 from problems caused by surgery, aged 87.[4][5]
