Dorothy Fay
Dorothy Fay (April 4, 1915 – November 5, 2003) was an American actress. She was known for her appearances in Western movies. She was born in Prescott, Arizona.
She played a heroine in The Green Archer (1940) and White Eagle (1941), both at Columbia Pictures.
Fay also made a few small appearances in other genres, such as the crime drama movie Missing Daughters (1939). She had a small role in The Philadelphia Story, which starred Cary Grant, James Stewart, and Katharine Hepburn.
She was married to Tex Ritter. She was the mother of John Ritter and paternal grandmother of Jason Ritter and Tyler Ritter.
Fay died on November 5, 2003 in Los Angeles at the age of 88.[1] Her son John Ritter died less than two months before his mother on September 11, 2003, from a heart disease.
