E.W. Jackson

American bishop

Earl Walker Jackson Sr. (born January 13, 1952) is an American conservative politician, Protestant minister, and lawyer from Virginia. He ran in the 2024 Republican presidential primaries. In 2013, he was the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia.[1] Jackson also ran for the United States Senate in Virginia in 2012 and 2018 but did not win. He is the head pastor at Exodus Faith Ministries in Chesapeake, Virginia. He founded a Christian political group called Staying True to America's National Destiny.[2]

Early life

Jackson was born on January 13, 1952, in Chester, Pennsylvania. He is the great-grandson of slaves from Orange County, Virginia. His parents separated when he was a child, and he spent most of his childhood in a foster home.
