The FIFA Futsal World Cup is the international competition for men's national teams of Futsal, the indoor version of football organized by FIFA. The tournament is held every 4 years, and on the even year between each FIFA World Cup. For example, if the World Cup is in 2018 and 2022, the Futsal World Cup would be held in 2020 between the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
The first event was held in 1989 in the Netherlands. The current champion is Argentina. They won the 2016 tournament.
