Gadjah Mada University (Javanese: ꦈꦤꦶꦥ꦳ꦼꦂꦱꦶꦠꦱ꧀ꦓꦗꦃꦩꦢ; Indonesian: Universitas Gadjah Mada, abbreviated as UGM) is a research university and public university located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Gadjah Mada University was officially founded on 19 December 1949, and one of the oldest and largest educational institutions in the country.[5]
