Garrick Utley
American newsreader
Clifton Garrick Utley (November 19, 1939 – February 20, 2014), better known as Garrick Utley, was an American television journalist. He was best known for reporting about the Vietnam War and was one of the first full-time television correspondent covering the war on-site.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Westtown School in 1957 and from Carleton College in 1961.
Utley died after a long battle with prostate cancer on February 20, 2014 in New York City, New York. He was aged 74. He was outlived by his wife Gertje Utley (née Rommeswinkel).[1]
