Gaza–Jericho Agreement

treaty (Israel – Palestine Liberation Organization; 4 May 1994)

The Gaza-Jericho agreement was made between Palestine and Israel as part of the peace process. The Gaza-Jericho agreement was signed on May 4, 1994 in Cairo, Egypt and is commonly known as the 1994 Cairo Agreement.[1]

Criticism change

There is criticism that the agreement did not equally address the concerns of each side. For example, the preamble of the text does not talk about a withdrawal of Israeli military presence from Palestinian-administered lands. [2]
