George Curtis Smith
United States federal judge
George Curtis Smith (August 8, 1935 – April 15, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. He was a Senior United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He was nominated to the court in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan and retired in 2002. Smith was born in Columbus, Ohio.
Smith died on April 15, 2020 at a hospital in Columbus from heart and kidney failure at the age of 84.[1]
