Guayas (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈɡwa.ʝas] (audio speaker iconlisten)) is a coastal province in Ecuador. It is bordered to the west by Manabí, Santa Elena, and the Pacific Ocean. With over 3 million people, it has more people than any other province in Ecuador. The largest city of Ecuador, Guayaquil, is within the province.
