Hans Frank

German lawyer, Nazi politician, General Governor of Nazi occupied Poland and convicted war criminal (1900-1946)

Hans Michael Frank (23 May 1900 – 16 October 1946) was a German lawyer. He worked for the Nazi Party during the 1920s and 1930s. Later he became a high-ranking official in Nazi Germany.

Frank was prosecuted during the Nuremberg trials for his role in the Holocaust. He was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and was executed on 16 October 1946. Before his execution, Frank returned to the Catholic Church.
