Henrietta Boggs

Henrietta Boggs (May 6, 1918 – September 9, 2020) was a Costa Rican-American author, journalist, and activist. She was the first wife of José Figueres Ferrer and served as First Lady of Costa Rica from 1948 to 1949 in the years after the Costa Rican Civil War.[1]

She turned 100 in May 2018.[2] She was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Boggs died at her home in Montgomery, Alabama on September 9, 2020 from COVID-19 at the age of 102.[3]
