Henrik Malyan

Armenian film director (1925–1988)

Henrik Malyan (Armenian language:Հենրիկ Մալյան; 30 September 1925 in Telavi, Georgia – 14 March 1988 in Yerevan, Armenia) was an Armenian movie director.

His 1977 movie Life Triumphs (Nahapet) is considered to be one of the most important Armenian movies to deal with the Armenian Genocide.[1] It was exhibited in the 1978 Cannes Film Festival.[2]
