History and Features

The Hyundai I40 was first debuted at the Barcelona Auto Show in 2011.[4] the car shares its platform with the Hyundai Sonata and has Sedan and Station wagon versions it was designed in Hyundai`s European facilites in Russelsheim.[5] it has a 1.6 and 2.0 petrol engines and 1.6 and 1.7 diesel engines and the car also has a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission and a 7-speed DCT transmission.

The Hyundai I40 was made mainly for Europe and was sold mainly there however it was also sold in South Korea Australia New Zealand and Malaysia.

Discontinuation

The production of the Hyundai I40 ended in 2019 in Australia and New Zealand the car was discontinued due to weak sales and was replaced by the Hyundai Sonata it was also discontinued in Europe.[6]
